Rent a Cannondale Moterra from us and have some fun in the sun. The expansive trails around San Diego County are the place to be. We can meet up for a guided tour. Or we can drop you a bike and you take off on your own. If you don’t know the area, we will have routes downloaded to the Karoo Hammerhead computer Karoo Hammerhead 3.

We have routes that you can follow on the Hammerhead computer. We will list them here. Be sure to stay away from the jumping cactus. We have been riding these trails for years. We have had very little interactions. Sometimes you will see a “little jumper” on the trail. Try not to get it in your tire. If you do, be careful pulling it out. The tire sealant will take care of the rest.
Route Descriptions
10 BUNNIES
This route has some nice views above the Sweetwater reservoir. This is a shorter mellow loop. Should take 90 minutes to 2 hours. There are a couple sections that require some thought, but it is a pretty tame loop. Good for beginners to intermediate riders. You will see some “Jumping Cactus”. Sometimes it is close to the trail. Be careful. Always make sure your bell is in the “on” position. You never know when someone may be coming the other direction.
10 BUNNIES EXTENDED
This adds almost an hour to the 10 Bunnies loop. About 2.5 to 3 hours. This extension has a steep uphill that requires you to put your bike in push mode. You will pass some Jumping Cactus in this push section. The push climb will take 5 or 10 minutes. There are some moderate challenging sections on this loop. It will be a piece of cake for the intermediate mountain biker. Always make sure your bell is in the “on” position. You never know when someone may be coming the other direction.
CHULA VISTA CANYON LOOP
Chula Vista Canyon loop. This loop traverses some canyons throughout Bonita and Chula Vista. This loop has some slightly technical descents. These downhills can get steep but, they are very rideable. You will cross a few roads. Be sure to look both ways before you cross the road. Always make sure your bell is in the “on” position. You never know when someone may be coming the other direction.
